Soundwaves presents Front Row, a curated selection of awesome live shows presented in their entirety. Hey, don’t blame us if you don’t get anything done for the rest of the day!
This edition of Front Row features the only movie big enough to contain the Rolling Stones: Live at the MAX, the first rock and roll concert ever captured on the large film format. Actually, it was the first full-length film of any kind shot in IMAX!
The live performances were shot in five cities during the Urban Jungle Tour in Europe in 1990. The movie coincided with the release of the live album Flashpoint and was released October 25, 1991.
