We’re thrilled to announce the 2015 edition of SOUNDWAVES CHRISTMAS has been nominated for four WAVE Awards – in the categories of ENTERTAINMENT, MUSIC PROGRAMMING, PROGRAM/CHANNEL PROMO and COMMUNITY ISSUES.
More than 350 entries were received for the Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) Awards, representing media producers in the Alliance for Community Western Region’s six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and New Mexico.
SOUNDWAVES XMAS 2015 was the 26th annual music-based fundraiser to benefit families and non-profits throughout Northern California, with performances by The Babys, Alien Ant Farm, Biters, Megan Slankard, PUSH, Strange Hotel, and Kevy Nova. The program was shot entirely on location at the Rockbar Theater in San Jose, CA. The special aired on KOFY TV20 and on local stations in December.
The WAVE Awards ceremony will be held Friday, March 18, 2015 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
