We’re guessing this is as much a coincidence as was the late, great David Bowie’s stunning birthday-album release-death trifecta last month…
Parlophone had previously announced a thirteen record retrospective box set of David Bowies iconic recordings between 1969 and 1973. But now, the first six will be released individually on 180 gram vinyl.
The titles (of course) are Space Oddity (1969), The Man Who Sold The World (1970), Hunky Dory (1971), The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars (1972), Aladdin Sane (1973) and Pinups (1973).
Many of these albums re-charted in the wake of Bowie’s passing in January and we’re guessing after these releases, will be taking up some more residence on the charts.
All six albums will be released on February 26th.
