We’re proud to announce the 2017 edition of SOUNDWAVES XMAS, the annual TV rock and roll holiday party that features exciting exclusive musical performances, and spotlights Bay Area nonprofits making a difference!
Hosted by Soundwaves regulars Dennis Willis (Soundwaves 10@10), Steven Kirk (Soundwaves FM), with longtime SW hosts Joe McCaffrey and Moira Szasz.
Joining the team this year is popular radio personality Chasta (107.7 The Bone). She will appear with the team on the set and also in a segment shot at Five Little Monkeys, in support of the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program.
Bay Area music legend Michael Franti will appear with his wife Sara Agah Franti to discus their music-based nonprofit Do It For The Love.
Renee and Irish Greg will host one of the performance stages at the Longboard Margarita Bar in Pacifica.
Also appearing from the Bay Area media scene: ABC newscaster Dan Ashley, Nikki Medoro (KGO), Mike “No Name” Nelson (KFOG), Peter Finch (The Finch Files), Baby Huey (The Bone) the gang from the new Creature Features program, and Bay Area legend John Stanley.
Midnight Sinfini will appear in a 360 VR sequence, and discuss their upcoming landmark VR music video; and the online version will feature a special video presentation from Bray and the Dens.
Soundwaves Xmas will feature exciting musical performances from The Sam Chase, Matt Jaffe, Pearl Alley, Rabbit Quinn, PUSH featuring Dan Ashley, Burner Herzog, EllaHarp, and introducing Hannah Crane!
Nonprofits supported include Waste No Food, the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, Blue Bear School of Music, Rock the CASA, and the Do It For the Love Foundation.
The 28th edition will stream exclusively online at Howlive.tv on December 3rd, and will play throughout December on various local stations, including KOFY TV20, North Bay TV, Pacific Coast TV, CreaTV, and will be available online in its entirely or in shareable clips.
