We’re proud to announce the 2018 edition of SOUNDWAVES XMAS, the annual TV rock and roll holiday special that features exciting exclusive musical performances, and spotlights Bay Area nonprofits making a difference!
Hosted by Chasta (Soundwaves TV), Dennis Willis (Soundwaves 10@10), Steven Kirk (Soundwaves FM), with longtime SW hosts Joe McCaffrey; and veteran media personalities Renee Richardson and Irish Greg McQuaid.
Shot entirely at the Longboard Margarita Bar in Pacifica, the 29th annual edition will also feature exclusive live performances from the Dave Friday Band, EllaHarp, Rick Hardin, Jeremy Lyon of King Dream, Michelle Lambert, Kendra McKinley, Midnight Sinfini, State Line Empire, and Sweet Undertow; with special performances from Garrick Davis and Zakiya Hooker, in support of the John Lee Hooker Foundation.
Also appearing from the Bay Area media scene: Dan Ashley (KGO), Lamont and Tonelli, Baby Huey, and Zakk (The Bone), Arthur Ballesteros and Alicia Tyler (KFOG), Murph and Mac (KNBR), Carolyn Copeland and Bret Burkhart (KGO Radio), Creature Features legend John Stanley, San Francisco Film Critics Circle president Randy Myers, and Soundwaves radio hosts Intern Steve (It’s a 90s Thing) and DJ Bear (PopOff!).
Oh, and Santa makes an appearance … in more ways than one!
Nonprofits supported include the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, Blue Bear School of Music, Rock the CASA, the Do It For the Love Foundation, San Francisco Food Bank, Giants Community Fund, Haight Street Art Center, Matthew 25, and the Davis Street Family Resource Center.
