After providing data for hundreds of Soundwaves 10@10 episodes, Intern Steve steps into the spotlight with a deep dive into All Things 80s. Almost every episode will be two parts … each half a distinctly different subject from its counterpart … seemingly unrelated pop culture and music topics that (more often than not) will have a connection!
Today we’re going to hear how Genesis pushed the boundries of political correctness. We’re going to hear a couple exceptions in part one as we play a song from the 70s and one from the 90s and we’re going to hear another one of those pop songs influenced by David Bowie’s “A Space Oddity”. You’ll hear all of that and more in this co-edition of IA9T and IA8T.

2. Genesis – Illegal Alien
3. Jefferson Starship – Alien
4. Scorpions – Alien Nation
5. Tubeway Army (featuring Gary Numan) – I’m Praying To The Aliens
