Our Pride special was everything it should have been; celebratory, poignant, political and downright hilarious. Monica Pasquel & the Handsome Brunettes kicked things off with a few tunes, highlighted by the beautiful song of resistance “You Can’t Kill Light.”
They were followed by the always funny Tony Bravo from the San Francisco Chronicle who gave his review of Pride, talked about the importance of journalism during these times and his fierce opposition to Katy Perry’s “Swish-Swish.” Blame Sally rounded the lovely evening off with their gorgeous harmonies and charming stories both musical and otherwise. Thanks for listening to this special show.
