Renee & Irish Greg’s Pop UP! Episode 31: Zoo Station + Eoin Harrington with Dick Bright

Renee Richardson and “Irish Greg” McQuaid have been Bay Area radio staples for more than two decades at Live 105, KFOG and KGO Radio in San Francisco. Follow Renee on Twitter HERE and Greg HERE. Follow their Facebook page HERE.

Tons of wonderful music with a healthy dose of humor and lashings of 21st Amendment’s St Patrick O’Sullivan’s Irish Red Ale made for a great Paddy’s Day celebration at the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco.

Eoin Harrington kicked the night off, his soulful Irish voice given a lovely lift with the addition of the legendary Dick Bright on fiddle. They played a bunch of traditional Irish tunes, one original and finished with a rousing version of Steve Earle’s “Galway Girl”.

Headliners Zoo Station have been the Bay Area’s premiere U2 tribute band for over a decade. Bonalmost, the Sledge, Adamesque and Barely Larry treated the crowd to rare stripped down performances of favorites like “Desire”, “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and “Vertigo”. A perfect way to close out a perfect evening.
