Renee & Irish Greg’s Pop UP! Episode 43 – The Dolly Mamas and Rob Hotchkiss

Renee Richardson and “Irish Greg” McQuaid have been Bay Area radio staples for more than two decades at Live 105, KFOG and KGO Radio in San Francisco. Follow Renee on Twitter HERE and Greg HERE. Follow their Facebook page HERE.

We took the show on the road for our latest podcast, heading to Iron Springs Pub & Brewery in Fairfax to host two local acts, the Dolly Mamasand Rob Hotchkiss.

Many of you will be familiar with Rob from the band Train where he wrote such hits as “”Meet Virginia,” “I Am” and the Grammy award winning smash “Drops of Jupiter.” Rob treated us to a Bob Dylan cover, a couple of his own tunes and ended with a surprise version of the train classic “Calling All Ages.”

The Dolly Mamas are Marquesa Versola, Rebecca Chourré & Liz Pisco, three working moms from Fairfax whose love of music brought them together to record the album “Labyrinth” which we were happy to help launch. They delivered a lovely set of songs with beautiful harmonies and were even joined by Rob Hotchkiss for a flawless cover of “I Shall Be Released.”
