It’s an 80s Thing #11 – Scotti Bros & Artists from the Windy City

After providing data for hundreds of Soundwaves 10@10 episodes, Intern Steve steps into the spotlight with a deep dive into All Things 80s. Almost every episode will be two parts … each half a distinctly different subject from its counterpart … seemingly unrelated pop culture and music topics that (more often than not) will have a connection!

In part 1, we’re going to highlight some of the artists that put out fantastically 80s material on Scotti Bros and we’ll tie that to part 2, artists from the windy city . . . musicians who lived in or whose bands called Chicago home. We’ll hear from the 5-time Grammy winner who took home one of only two awards ever handed out for Best Concept Music Video before they completely discontinued the award altogether and a clip from the smash movie that cost $350K to make but raked in over $17 million.
