On today’s episode on PopOff! I present the Black History Month edition of my Sunday live stream Country BBQ. Constantly naming names to people who claimed country music has no black musicians and to prove to the rest Charley Pride and Darius Rucker were and are not the only African-American names in country music here is a mix you can share as proof positive black artists have always been present in one the most enduring music genres the US ever created. Also it’s a lot less chatter and more records that matter. Enjoy!
PopOff! is an “anything goes” musical show hosted by me DJ Bear. Every episode is a unique sonic road trip through the multitudes of genres, eras, and musicians in recorded music. So if you have an open mind for musical exploration climb into the PopOff! Bubble and let’s get to it!!
Also join me at The Bear Cave for my live streamed shows.
