Gary Numan releases Savage: Songs From A Broken World

Gary Numan is a bona fide new wave legend, but that’s only the tip of the musical iceberg for him.

After scoring a massive hit with “Cars” at the age of 20, Numan’s career has touched everything from jazz, funk, soundtracks, session work, rock and electronica.

Foo Fighter Dave Grohl and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails are fans. Marilyn Manson proclaimed Numan’s work an influence. Basement Jaxx had a huge hit in 2002 with “Where’s Your Head At,” which relied on a sample of Numan’s “M.E.”

Numan’s latest album Savage: Songs From A Broken World was released September 15th, and it’s a sonic masterpiece – brooding, atmospheric, and lacquered with a futuristic Mad Mad aesthetic. Stream it!
