Depeche Mode to release massive Video Singles Collection DVD set

Depeche Mode will release their entire videography in a new DVD box set spanning music clips they released between 1981 to 2013. Video Singles Collection will contain four hours of video with an additional two hours of audio commentary across three discs. It’s slated to come out November 11th.

Videos have always played an essential part in how we wanted to present Depeche Mode’s music to the world,” the band members said in a joint statement. “It’s been amazing to go back and relive all the experiences and memories these videos evoke after all these years. It’s incredible to have all our videos finally together in one place and we’re hoping our fans enjoy this journey through time as much as we did.”

The set contains 55 videos, made by directors including Julien Temple, Anton Corbijn, D.A. Pennebaker and John Hillcoat, among others, that have each been restored. It also features a handful of rarely seen alternate videos for “People Are People,” “Stripped” and others.

Band members Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher participated in new audio commentary for some of the clips.
